I have a Nauset w/ a 100 Yamaha Four Stoke. It has the standard prop. (cant recall the size). I am topping out at 42 at 6000 rpms. This is with 50 gallons of fuel, 1 person, gear. Is about the most I can get? What is the best prop for hole shot and bets top speed? thanks!

No such prop.
If you want a great hole shot, get a prop with less pitch, on the other hand, to improve your hole shot, you must give a little on the top end, & vise versa.
Theres no such thing as a standard prop, all applications are different.
Sound like your dialed in pretty good, getting 6,000 rpms means she's pretty close if not right there.
If you wanted more speed & a rocket to blow you out of the hole, you should have got a 150 instead of a 100.
I'v seen so many people who want to do 50 mph & jump out of the hole like being launched off an aircraft carrier, yet buy an engine that dosen't have the horses to do what they want.
If you want speed, get a bigger engine cause your just about maxed out now.
I'm not being saurcastic, just stating the facts.
I see people with a 50 hp engine on a 17 ft heavy boat trying to get 50 aint gonna happen no matter which prop they use.
