Help! I just Blew the Motor on my Whaler, I had an evinrude on it and now I would like to repower it with a new 90hp- 2 stroke or 4 stroke motor. what I am looking for is suggetions on which brand to use on price verses performance. I scuba dive off of this boat. and I use it as a family boat on the delta to water ski. suggestions greatley appriciated.

thank you

Get a Johnson 90. The boat will have loads of power and the price doesn't hurt as much as the 4 stroke 90. I put a new Johnson 90 on my 16'7" boat last spring and it will yank 2 skiers out of the water without any problem.
