cdnturbo	posted 06-29-2003 08:39 PM ET (US)         My engine seems to make a funny sound at about 3500 rpm? It is fine higher or lower. Do these engines have a point were they kick in and out the different cylinders?
Jamie 20 outrage	posted 06-30-2003 12:36 AM ET (US)             No, but higher horsepower 2 strokes often have an rpm where harmonics develope. I would avoid that rpm and not worry about it further. Glad to hear you had such a great trip. I havent had my boat long enough to give you feedback on your speed questions. Since I bought my boat it has been too windy/rough to use much.
