Well I had my new custom Load master aluminum trailer to be built on 6/13 but unfortunately I had some good luck piling hunting on Memeorial Day weekend....so I put it on hold. The trailer is their 3500lb single torsion axle with 14" Goodyear Marathon tires. 2 speed winch, PVC guide-ons, LED lights, Stainless bolt kit(including lug nuts) and smaller/lower bunks so my center of gravity is lower. I am having red whaler "harpoon" decals installed down the sides instead of their decals so she will be custom looking as well.

I know it is kind of corny getting excited over a trailer....but I an corny.....don't remember eating corn recently:) I am also tickled that since I delayed a month, I now get a 2004 model.....HOOOOEY!

For those interested in one call Matt Dennison @ 813-689-3096 and you can mention me(whaler decals). Price out the door with tax is $1387($1135 trailer with 14" wheels and winch, 13's available for less. $110 SS bolt kit, $15 SS lug nuts, $35 LED lights, Plus tax).

Bigshot,

One of the first things I look at when inspecting a boat is the trailer upon which it's loaded. If it's a high quality, properly set-up trailer with custom graphics to match the boat, it catches my eye immediately. The trailer is a VERY important part of the whole rig. Your post indicates that you've done your homework.

I also had the same trailer(1996 model) under my Montauk but sold it with the Newport and now need one again for my Newtauk. They are high quality and priced right. Being they are made 40 minutes from my house, no dealer markups and no freight.
