I would like to install a dodger. I plan to ask local canvas shops, but would be interested to know if there is a company that makes them to fit off the shelf? I will need to pick color.

Thank you,

If you are referring to the forward shelter try Mills. They were the OEM supplier on the older whalers. Product is top shelf, expensive, but worth the money.
Wm. J. Mills & Co.

Check out their web site for your boat.

diamondjj-I could not find a dodger from mills. Was this an option when the boat was new?
They only show helm and seat covers.

They have them (forward shelter) for the 19 Outrage II and 18 Outrage which is what I own. It may be the same unit used on the 18, but you will have to verify that with Mills. Yes, it was an option when the boat was new, along with the flying top, side and aft curtains that attach to the flying top, etc. What year is your boat ? Give Mills a call and provide them with the model and year. They will quote you a price if one is available.
Go to : www.Sunbrella.com to look at available colors.

I have a friend that mentioned yesterday to me that he was going to sell his dodger - it's a Mills, and fits his 1981 Whaler Outrage 20 - it's blue, and I believe is in excellent shape. He mentioned around $250 cash plus shipping would buy it. If interested, give him a call: 803-642-1275 evenings. His email is jrbeeland@yahoo.com It's in Aiken, South Carolina - Mav
