Can some of you Montauk owners with 90 hp merc tell me what prop size your running. Year of boat and motor.

91 montauk, 92 Mercury 90HP, 13.25 X 19P s/s Michigan prop. 43MPH @ 5600 RPM

'03 Mercury 90 classic, 1984 Montauk. I run a 12-3/4 x 21 pitch Mercury aluminum prop.

81 Newport w/ 81 Merc 90. 17 pitch Mich wheel. I can reach motors max RPM 5K. Tried 19 OEM Merc prop and could only hit around 4600. I think the 19 was 1 MPH or 2 faster. Current speed w/ light load 38/39 MPH.

For a Classic Montauk with late model Merc 90 2-stroke, use a 20" Merc Laser II or High Five prop. She'll really run, probably close to 47 with engine in third holes.
