Ok. I have received excellent advice so far...now a curiosity question.
If I wanted to resell a 13' Sport with a 50 hp motor (+10hp over hull rating), do I encounter a bunch of additional risk as compared to selling with less hp?
Just curious.

Check your state laws, Hunter.
In some states it is illegal to sell an overpowered boat. I am sure this is aimed at dealers, but better safe than sorry.
