Just finishing up on a two year labor of love and money on my '64' Nauset. It will be powered by a '96' F50 4-Stroke.
Boat will be used for trolling here on the Big Isle.
I would love some help for the right size SS Prop.

On my Montauk I am running a 50 Merc 4 stroke and the Merc Trophy Sport 13 pitch 4 blade is the best prop I have found.

While many on this forum can offer suggestions, you need to test out different props on your boat and decide which you like best. Make certain that wherever you buy the prop from, that they will allow you to test other props if you desire. If you want a slower troll speed, less pitch and a larger diameter is called for. Higher top end...larger pitch and smaller diameter. Better hole shot...medium pitch and medium diameter. The three combinations will allow you to maintain your recommended WOT but alter the performance of the boat to match your needs. I went thru 3 props even after talking to various people for help...

Good luck in your search!
