I have 16 foot Dauntless and I'm having trouble with my steering wheel sticking. At low speeds and at high speeds. Someone said the problem is that the cable doesn't have the proper radius because of the tackle drawers inside the center console. I'm thinking of installing a hydralic steering. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

[Recommended a particular brand of steering.]

How old is your steering system? Has it been this way since new? Are you aware that you need to maintain steering systems, and if you don't, it can become stiff or stick?

Before you replace the entire steering system, just make sure yours doesn't need to be cleaned and greased.
