Are the fuel tanks for the Yamaha 70HP outboard vented? I vaguely remember a conversation saying that they are not. I am in the process of fabricating a new aluminum tank for my 17' Striper.

A Yamaha 70 HP outboard uses an external fuel tank. There is no telling who the vendor of such a tank would be, it could be made by any number of common "portable" on-deck fuel tank suppliers.
All fuel tanks must be vented to operate properly.
