Just purchased a Sport 130 to use as a tender for my houseboat. It hasn't even been in the water yet. Compared to the 13' jet boat I'm replacing the Whaler offers very little enclosed storage space for items such as life jackets. The dealer suggested in Igloo cooler to keep behind the seats. I'd apprecaire suggestions from some of you experienced owners.

Welcome. Lots of whalers use igloo coolers for extra seating and dry storage. You will probably get more help if you repost this in the post-classics section.

Take some measurements of free space under your seats, then go to the Rubbermaid website and shop for containers that will fit under them. Put as much as you can under the seats and keep your deck space open.
