Just got a brand new yamaha 90hp 2 stroke. Got 5 more hours left on break in of engine. With just myself in boat(225lbs.) with appox.15 gallons of gas locate inside center console, boat planes at 3000rpm's then trims to 3500rpm's
WOT at exactly 5500 rpm's....Current prop is standard aluminum 13x17....What size stainless steel prop do you suggest...

In case you're looking for a second opinion, I agree with Bigshot's recommendation if you're considering Yamaha's black painted stainless steel propeller. If some other brand or one of Yamaha's performance propellers, a 16 or 18 pitch might work with a 13 inch diameter. Some experimentation may be necessary.
