[Can a trailer set up for a 1984 Outrage 25 be used with a 1995 Outrage 24?] My understanding is the 1995 is a deeper vee than the older 25's. Is there a big weight difference between these hulls?

Thanks.

Most trailers are adjustable to accomodate a variety of different boats as long as the deadrise of the V's are somewhat close. I believe the 1984 will be a 16 degree deadrise and the 1995 will be slightly higher. A tape measure should get it done for you. Even if there is significant difference (which I doubt) changing a few runner [bunk?] brackets will work.

My guess is the hull for the 1995 weighs more. You should check the rating of the trailer to see if it can accommodate the greater weight.

Do you intend to use the trailer without adjusting it to the boat? It is unlikely it will be properly adjusted if set up for a different boat, unless it is just one of those simple two-bunk float on trailers. They fit anything with no adjustment, which is why they are so popular with trailer seller but not necessarily popular with trailer buyers.
