Thanks Seahorse. Looks quite a bit different under the hood than my '02 225 Fichts. Looking forward to seeing one at the shows this Fall.

Peter,

They really cleaned things up under the hood. All the cables, hookups, and shift-throttle is under the swing-away black cover on the stb. side.

The E-TEC is a lot simpler motor also, compared to all the wiring and hoses on the FICHT models.

Am I missing the Oil Tank????

The 75hp and the 90hp has the Oil Tank under the cowl......

Where is the Oil Tank located on these larger e-Techs????

Remote oil tank. According to Bombardier for average recreational use, you will only have to add oil once a year.

There will be an optional remote oil tank available for the 40 thru 90 E-TECs that are used commercially, on pontoon boats, or rental fleets.

Seahorse, you can say that again. First thing I noticed was the lack of the neatly organized rat's nest of wires and hoses.

Is it correct to assume the E-TEC also requires indexing of spark plugs?

Very nice engine. I can't wait to test one when they arrive over here.
