I need a Bimini for my 13 Sport. Should I use a 8' or 6' and the beam is around 60" center to center. Any recommendations on where to buy one in Houston, Tx or off the I-net?

8' will look a little funny on a 13' boat, but you're buying the bimini for shade... The top on my 15' Sport is probably closer to 6', and never do I recall saying "Wow, that's too much shade, I wish I'd bought a smaller top".

I put my bimini on 4' sliding tracks so I can adjust it's position with respect to the sun, and the seat I am in...

Larpad...

I purchased mine from this site: http://www.websweeper.com/.

It's not the best (Mills) but it's not the worst either. I bought the 6 foot and 54 inch high model...3 bow.

It works well..keeps me covered and folds down just on top of the norman pins in the front and just in front of the motor at the rear.

I've had very good luck at iboats.com. Worth a look @

www.biminitop.net/index.cgi/action.models/manufacturer.Boston_Whaler.html

If you're not sure about the model or just want to ask a question you can call iboats @ 1-800-589-0601.

If nothing else, you can get a good idea of whats available and prices.

Good luck. :)
