Hello all,

It looks like the old EZLoader trailer that was included in my recent 86 Montauk purchase is in desperate need of replacement. The axle is bent considerably, I've already lost and replaced a roller and the bunks have seen better days.

Can anyone advise me in purchasing a new trailer? Do I go to a Whaler dealer or any boat dealer who sells trailers? Can I expect to pay big bucks or are they reasonably priced.

Any help would be appreciated!

Whatever you do....go with aluminum and save a few hundred punds when towing.

Pete (NH Katama) has bought/driven trailers for members on the East Coast, New England on this board since he drives occasionally to/from Florida.

While I am not sure of your schedule, I recall pricing being better than if you got it local. I saw the new one he got for his 70's Katama and it was really nice but not expensive.
