My hull plate says 1515 lbs & 400 hp , but I thought I read that a 22 notched was 240hp ,Wd 300 hp! Is my plate incorrect for a wd 22 in 1988 @400hp ? T

The rating plate on the boat is the ultimate authority.

The 22' Revenge with the notched transom has always had a maximum hp rating of 240. The 22' Revenge Whaler Drive model has had maximum hp ratings of 240, 400, and 300.
