I saw this very friendly equipment in Dubai boat show, I like it a lot but a friend just told me there was some problems, and errors with showing depth in hi speed.

The menu is very simple and easy to nav, good details in the chartplotter .. I like it unless there are other reasons you can till me guys.

Thanks in advance

I have a C80 with a 4kw radar, GPS, and a 1kw F.F. I like it, I am still getting used to the menus, but the display is tough to beat. I have threaded the needle through a narrow inlet this last Christmas at night in peasoup fog, no problemo. The charts are good, not great, but you can get good ones burned by local guys that offer the good ones. The fish finder is great, I like it better than my Furuno 667, and that says alot, comparing a CRT to a LCD. I have used the Furuno Navnet and I think it is a great unit, the menus are easier for my brain, but the Raymarine has a better display, period. Try the E-series, you can play video on it, very fun! FYI- I tried the C70, and found the screen too small to fit the triple function display into it- tough to see things while pitching around in the boat, but my eyes could just be bad..

I installed the C-12 with Radar, sonar and GPS on my Outrage Cuddy 25' last fall. I can actually see lat/long without readers. I also have the Raymarine 760RC plus on my Outrage 18. The C-12 is far and away more user friendly. The screens are very customizeable(sp?). You can have a large view chart up while the next chart is zoomed in on the channel, and the third screen is radar. This combo is very usefull when going in a 30 ft. channel in the fog. The c-series is worth a strong consideration.

thanks guys,

i agree it is friendly .. i think i will buy it soon it will cost me in my country 1,550 kuwaiti dinars about 5,250 USD is this price fair?

c_mccann, it is nice to be able to view vedio but it will cost not less that $$650 more to buy the E-120.

Royce, do u know how can i set the gard zone ?? and track "Track up to 10 vessels on radar display" how does this work ??

Its all in the Radar instructions. The MARPA tracking may take the addition of a fluxgate compass to feed the gps and Radar true compass heading for real accurate location of targets as well as for accurate Radar overlay of the charts. I am still exploring the depths of this system. As far as pricing--the following are the costs in the states:

24 mile Radar with cable--$900.

Digital depth sounder black box--$550.

Gps antennea--$350.

C12 Display--$2,200.

Navionics Gold chart--$200.

Total--$4,200.--USD + taxes

Plus installation

Fluxgate compass--$600.
