here are the facts and could someone please put it all together for me? The boat is for recreational use only, 17' 87 SS with 2002 2-stroke 90hp Johnson. The prop needs to be aluminum due to rocky shore, what size and pitch prop do I get and please offer any other useful info.??

The proper propeller will be one which lets the engine speed wind to the maximum rated speed.

Bob,

I would use a 13.25 x 17 for all around use. Maybe a 13.25 x 15 for waterskiing with a crowd.
