Hey Folks, I need help. I am thinking of re-powering my 17 Super Sport Limited with a Yamaha 90 four-stroke. I'm currently running a 85-HP two-stroke Yamaha at 261 lbs. The new 90 four-stroke is about 100-lbs. more. [Tell me about your] experience with a 90 four-stroke on a 17 hull. [Give me] comments or suggestions of something better. I need to know. I repowered my '89 17'SS limited with a 90 suzuki last July with a 17" prop. Great for sking,etc. Great power, quiet,perfect.4-stoke is the way to go!
