Author	Topic:   Anyone tried a Trophy Sport 12P on a 13 Sport with Merc 40HP 2-Stroke?
marbisi	posted 07-26-2006 03:46 PM ET (US)         I'm heavily leaning in this direction, as it seems to give the best compromise between hole shot and cruising. A few MPH on the top doesn't bother me, and I'm afraid that a 10.5x13 three blade may not cut it.... I've read where folks are happy with the 13P, but I cannot find a reference for the 12P, hence my request..... Thanks!!
pglein	posted 07-26-2006 06:02 PM ET (US)             A 12" pitch prop seems like WAY too little prop to me for a 13' with a 40hp. A 13" should give very fast hole shot and push the boat to over 40mph.
