jimh	posted 10-19-2007 10:41 PM ET (US)             The ICOMIA 28 standard was adopted in 1983. Since then engines have been rated in a consistent manner. See http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/ICOMIA28-83.html The ability of an engine to produce its rated power may decline with age.
