My 1988 BW 15' SS is at the dealer getting a new 50HP E Tec motor. The dealer will put what ever prop I want on it. I was doing some research on this site and saw recommendations for 13 3/8 X 17. Dealer does not see that size offered. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We will be pulling jr skiers and crusing fresh water lakes and occassional trips to the gulf for flats fishing.
Thanks
Robert

It's the 13-1/4" x 17" size, offered in both aluminum and the stainless steel SSP model, part numbers 763463 and 763951 respectively.

The 13-7/8" x 17" Viper model could also be used.

I actually do not think the 17" pitch BRP props will be enough. You would want the 13" x 19" aluminum or SSP or the 13-7/8" x 19" Viper.

With a 2.67:1 I think a 19 is more appropriate like Tom said. I have a 2.59 and a 22" gets me 5850 and about 40mph.

Thanks Nick..I assume that prop will fit an E TEC?

I have an '87 15'SSL with a 60 E-Tec and use a BRP 13.25 x 17 aluminum prop. Seems to work well and gives max rpm of 5850. Gives me about 36-37 mph with one person and 15 gallons of fuel. I haven't tried the 19", but assume it might get a few mph than I currently get, but would not perform as well with more people onboard.
