Odd that your WOT RPM’s is lower with the lower pitch, smaller diameter, SS prop. You would think the opposite. Pitch measurement can vary depending on the manufacture and SS props are often cupped more which might make it more like a 14.

How far are you trimmed out? My 40 Suzuki will do about 32 at level trim, start trimming(and slight propoising) and she will get close to 40 if you can handle it.

I though the same. I was hoping for 32 34 at 5600.
Trimed out level.
Would like more hole shot for pulling
DG22 you are right.
Tom also though the 13 would be better than the 14
I think thay do make a 12 ?.
What prop are you runing on the 40hp.
