Author	Topic:   Converting E-Tec From Tiller to Remote
thegage	posted 06-09-2010 07:06 AM ET (US)         There are a couple of threads on 25/30 E-tecs where it was opined that you can convert the short shaft tiller models to remote. My dealer says this can't be done, at least with the recnt (2009/2010) models. Is he right? John K.
Tohsgib	posted 06-09-2010 11:48 AM ET (US)             With many models you can convert a remote engine to a tiller by adding a tiller kit. However many do not allow converting a tiller to remote. Anything is possible but may be cost prohibitive. I looked at a 25hp Suzuki tiller and it could not be converted. They did offer a tiller conversion kit for remote models....go figure.
