The rub rail looks different, maybe not a Whaler?

I sure would like to know about the performance.

When starting from idle at WOT, I could see the boat spinning around the outboard:)

I believe Mick merely put the cowl of a Yamaha 200 on his Yamaha 130 for the photo.

Dunno...can't believe a HPDI cover fits an old looper pan & mid.

Is that not runpastthefence's boat, he is in SC and did a lot of work on the hull(redid the entire hull inside and out), he 1st had a rebuilt 130 but was talking about getting a 200, this could be it.... I have seen a 200 on a 16'7" before but this is a 1st. Even has the lower unit has been done...

It is a 200. No cowling tricks.

Lower unit, is/looks like a speed master with a different water pick up, surface 3 blade prop? You can also see the bottom has been straighten, no round bottom

Do you guys really think he's got a 475 lb outboard on the transom of that boat?

Hey look! It's my boat!

I just revived the old thread in the GAM. Thanks for the picture! I hadn't seen her in over a year! This certainly brought a smile to my face.
