posted 08-26-2011 05:34 PM ET (US)         Currently 1978 Montauck with older 2stroke 115 Mercury. Considering purchase of Edgewater with 2001 Mercury 115 EFI 4stroke. Previous reports about the reliability of this engine are glowingly positive, however my Mercury mechanic has directly cautioned me about this year and model. Does anyone have any personal experience (Positive or Negative)? Any impressions would be appreciated.
