This was fun, my boys loved it. One video shows one adult in 9' tender with 5 HP Merc 4S. http://youtu.be/B--xr_rwS40 And one with a ten year old. http://youtu.be/9sn1dbVFrKE My eight year old was camera shy. Happy whalering. Boat planes and runs great. http://i1320.photobucket.com/albums/u525/jamesgt727/null_zps27ba6545.jpg |

James, nice boat and looks good in the water. I assume that is for the boys and it looks lite in the nose when they are running it alone. |

Boating at it's best! I grew up in a 9' dinghy with 3 HP Evinrude in the late 50s and early 60s before graduating in 1966 to a 1963 13' Boston Whaler Sport with my brother and sister. With the 3HP, Dad's guidance was, "Always go upwind because when you run out of gas it will be easier to row back." JimP |

Just plain fun! That 5 hp does a great job with the 9' Whaler. Yesterday I had my 8' inflatable with 2hp Honda out in the harbor. Brings back the kid in me...... |

Brings back great memories. Here is an important public service announcement that will make capturing those moments better. |

Peter, thanks for pointing that out, I had no idea. I've done it before, but I won't do it again! Enjoy. |

thanks, I did watch the whole thing and got a good laugh. If anyone knows of a good cheap 9' tender or an 11' tender for sale, I only need a hull, (Got two boys) |

JimP, that's funny, my Dad's advise was similar, he told me to always go "up river". Good advise... |

Nick ! Proof that it works! I've had this boat together for a year or so, and ran it with another motor. (Yamaha 5), this past April, we took this and another boat to Homosassa and we could get this one started. Brand new motor. This is first time it's run, since. |

Fno, we use this in an idle zone river mostly. This wa the very first time we've seen it on a plane, the Yamaha 5 HP 2S didn't make enough power to get it up for some reason, and it ran bad. |
