The boat identified as Don McIntyre's "White Water" is not an "Outrage 25 Cuddy with rare forward steering". It is, in fact, a Revenge 25 Cuddy. An equally rare and very desirable boat. Thanks for the new forum and steady stream of photographs.

Doug's comments are right on the money concerning that very rare model. The confusion comes from the fact that the boat is actually an Outrage 25 Cuddy model, but instead of the center console, a windshield and forward steering station were added at the rear of the cuddy, so without a center console it was closer to a Revenge series boat, hence the name. The huge, all level, interior cockpit could double as a dance floor! Incidentally, I have seen that same boat, after Don had sold it to a fellow in Canada, and it was a beauty, with the finest varnishing work I have ever seen.

Don, I hope you don't mind if we keep the information on the rare Revenge Cuddy from expiring.

This is in fact a Revenge. My 1983 22' is identical in layout and has the orginal Revenge 22 decal.

[Glitches in the forum's software make the dates on these posts all year-2000; actually they span 2000-2002!--jimh.]

It was/is listed in the catalog and purchase agreement as a 25' Revenge Cuddy. Have not seen her in years. Ran into the canadian who bought here (in the local West Marine store of all places....) who told me that she is now living down around the Detroit, MI area.

Many, many good memories....

Don

On the two CETACEA pages where Don's WHITEWATER appears, http://continuouswave.com/whaler/cetacea/cetaceaPage10.html and http://continuouswave.com/whaler/cetacea/cetaceaPage14.html , I have emended the captions to reflect the fact that it is indeed a 25-REVENGE CUDDY model.
