kingfish	posted 09-08-2000 09:52 AM ET (US)         Jim, et al... Did the hull shape change on Montauks from the '70's to the '80's? (I hope this question isn't isn't a dog we have already kicked to death) The bow hull configuration on the '74 shown in Cetacea currently looks quite a bit different from that on our '84. JCF

lhg	posted 09-08-2000 02:29 PM ET (US)          Yes, I also noticed that the boat is one of the very first Montauks, since 1974 was it's first year, with the 16' original hull in desert tan color. (The 1973 Cohasset was identical to this boat - in 1974 they simply changed the name to Montauk) You don't see many of these. JimH, that would be a good picture to include in the reference section.
