Certainly hope the 13 has better venting around the gas tank and battery than it appears in the photo -- at least from in my view that is a very unsafe situation unless you have a desire to join the Space Station team --- ZPS Kurt's console and seat look real nice |

Whew!!!! I don't know how comfortable I would be sitting on twelve gallons of fossil fuel with a battery right next to it. I sure would provide as much venting as possible. The mahogany looks darker than usual. Don't get me wrong, it looks good. Was it stained? What variety of Mahogany is it? |

While preparing the photos of Gus Lynch's boat, I was mainly thinking about things like size, crop, exposure, esthetics, etc.I never gave a thought to the safety aspect of the battery/fuel tank arrangement! I think you guys are making a good point: there may be some concern about enclosing the fuel tank in a compartment with a battery. Perhaps adding some vent holes is in order. --jimh |

What a beautiful job on the center console. I would love to see more photos of the refit as it takes place. The finish of the interior has to be new. Who did that work? From the photo, it looks top notch as well. What a great way to preserve the breed. |

Responding to dscewThe boat is a 13. You can tell for sure by the transom. A 15 looks a lot different, with a very defined motor mount area. I think what you are seeing with the apparently trapezoidal bow hatch is how the picture only shows part of the hatch - i.e., part of the view of the hatch is blocked by the boat. |

I am pretty sure that is a 13-foot hull. There is another view (that I didn't include in CETACEA) that shows the bow locker cover as almost square in shape, but with the two most forward corners cut diagonally a few inches in.--jimh |
