Hey, here I am flipping through the pics, and I've seen this boat (I think). This picture was taken at the North end of Bainbridge Island c. 5 miles west of Seattle. The view faces NE. This boat used to have an Evinrude 140 hp (if I recall correctly from my teenage years in the late 70's). All us local kids were impressed that this boat was soooooooo overpowered! I never forget a Whaler.

FYI to all you Midwesterners and Easterers: those are not mountains in the background. Those are hills. Mountains are something completely different.

My memory is coming back to me. This boat had a 115 hp ('71 or '72?) Evinrude. I was thinking of a Menemsha with a late 70's Johnson 140 that used to reside in Lake Union right by University Outboard in Seattle.

I'd love to hear from Craig Walsh as to my accuracy.
