JimH, it a very nice variety you have displayed this time, that Sakonnet especially has me drooling over it, that is a Whaler at its finest, I can't wait to either convert my Currituck into a Nauset or actually buy a Nauset or Eastport! Jack. |

Dan, Beautiful restoration! Is that the original steering wheel bezel? I love when the wood shines just so! CarlRobert |

Many good pictures here. Dan Harden's 13' caught my eye for two reasons: One is the great all white three piece rub rail. A very appropriate upgrade for an old blue hulled 13' that would allow new wiring to be run to the bow light. The other interesting thing is I do not think it can be a 1971 model. It is older. Note the sprue hole in the foredeck. I know for a fact that by 1970 the sprue hole on the 13's was moved to the bottom of the bow locker. I am not sure what year the change was made. Dan do you know the original serial number of this hull? I also enjoyed seeing Don Cather's old 21 with an absolutely huge stainless Destroyer type steering wheel mounted on it. It's a rather nice look. Very salty. |

Great shots! I happened to be at the boat shed when they were putting Tom's 21' on the new trailer in Saugatuck before his departure for Traverese City. Glad to see he was able to get out for a ride up there.I'm sure that will be a great boat for him. Outraged |

All the boats are great... but love the 13! Its set up just like my old 1963, side rails and all. Only had that boat for 15 years. What a great boat. Thanks for showing it. JimP |

I think the 30 year old Outrage 21 that Tom B just purchased was a real find. I only wish I'd found it first! The picture on the trailer shows how nice it really is, and with no bottom paint besides. It's going to be great fun bringing that one back to "factory" condition, as I know Tom can, and will, do. |

Like Tom I noticed that huge steering wheel on the 21. It looks great, makes the boat look great. |

Carl- thanks for the compliments, yes it is the original bezel, it was quite pitted when I got it so I sanded and painted it white. Tom- When I got the boat, the previous owner had it advertised as a '72, so I checked it with Jim's reference section and seem to remember it coming up as a '71. Unfortunately, I sold the boat about two months ago, and never wrote down the hull ID. I meant to do this, because I have owned (and sold) three 13's now over 20 years and I always wonder where they have gone to or if they are still around. Dan |
