Guidelines for CETACEA submissions are given at http://continuouswave.com/whaler/cetacea/guide.html . It is often quite confusing for me to establish exactly who someone is and what photographs they havesent if the name and Email address are different from the name and email address with which they have registered in the FORUM. Some contributors have had 100% of the photographs they submitted published, but the average is quite a bit lower than that. Public harrangues are probably not the best approach to getting things moving your way. In 1914 the Australian photographer Frank Hurley accompanied Ernest Shackleton to Antarctica. After almost two years of survival in the harshest of conditions, living on ice floes, in caves, in open boats, he returned with some of the finest black and white photographs ever taken. In the 88 years since then, it is often astonishing to me what some people think passes as photography. |
