Jim, I'm not picking up your last photo entry. I believe it's number 62-10. The description comes out, just not the photo.

That is a total bummer because that picture is a shot of MY BOAT!

You know that I'd make sure that one was working properly. It sounds like an internet anomaly; try loading the page again or using the browser's LOAD IMAGE function to force it to load.

My access to the website is remote, just like yours, so if it works for me it should work for you. That's the theory, anyways!

Wow! I've never had this problem before. I've tried everything, and it's like there is nothing there to load. I assume you're able to view it, but I'm lost in MS purgatory. Any ideas??

For what its worth, I'm having the same problem, I don't see 62-10.

According to the source code on my browser the width and height are set to null. For other photos it has a value. I know nothing about html but could this be the problem?

Jim, I've wiped out all cache files and and locked out further cache'd files and still get the same response.

OK--we're on the case now. Let me go work on this mystery. Thanks.

I think I fixed it. An errant space in the trailing part of the file name was doing the damage. Weird!

Jim, seeing your stern light pole in the photo now makes an earlier thread on that topic much clearer (picture=1000 words). That thing is massive. Is that the standard on all Revenge 20/22s or was a different system introduced later on?

Great shots! Love summertime & boating!

We used to attend a "sandbar party" on Eastern Long Island - the party started when the sandbar showed up, and ended when the tide came in! As the sandbar got bigger, more people stopped by and more BBQ grills were set up, as it shrunk, they left. Usually about 3-hours. Lots of fun to get together with your boats.

Jimh - Do you always run with your stern light up? I keep mine stowed in the rod rack on the port side (there's a circular cutout for the base of the pole in the plastic paneling so it will slide in).

Good job folks!

jimh -

I just read the OEM Source - Outrage 22 Sternlight thread. Guess you can't stow your stern light aboard. I'll try to get a picture of mine stowed this weekend and send it to you via email (hopefully Monday). Mine sits in the upper rod position on the port side (the light end slightly interferes with the port quarter cleat). The forward (base of the light) sits in a hole in the plastic paneling on the outer bulkhead to the outboard of the port companion seat.

Jimh,

I'm curious to know what kind of changes you've noticed in your craft with the addition of the setback brackets. Can you share anything yet?

I've just added one myself, but need a little more time to blend objective with subjective, before I can file a "report."

I haven't really had a chance to use the boat but two times since making the change, so results are very preliminary. That said, I do think it has helped, at least I _think_ it has helped.

The static trim is definitely more bow up. Underway I run the engines trimmed down farther--thrust is more aligned with straight ahead rather than trying to lift the bow. I can plane at slower speed, roughly about 200 RPM slower on the TACHs.

The best feature I've noticed so far is the bow seems to land much softer when banging in waves. I guess that is a product of the weight shift and of the change in trim angle of the engines. But I do get the feeling the bow comes down off a wave more gently. It could be my imagination, too. Spend enough money on a project and you start to see improvements, you know!

One of the best things about a Rendezvous is illustrated in these pictures: just getting all the boats together and having a chance to see how other people have rigged things.

There are many cool little details that can be found on boats like OUTRE, BACKLASH, LEDFOOT, WHITEWATER, etc. You have to see these boats up close to appreciate the beauty in the details.

Boating around together is fun, but some of the most fun is just hanging out at the docks and talking about how to make the boats even better.

Didn't get a picture of it, but Gary Malone's 21-Outrage console is really in the "art object" category. It is crafted from beautiful molded wood, varnished to perfection. He even had a varnished wooded handle on his engine controls!

Don McIntyre's 21-Outrage is in that same league. You are almost afraid to go aboard because the varnish is so perfect, the finish on the deck so spotless.

Jeff and Rosie had LEDFOOT so shiny it looked better than boat show new. Jeff confessed he spent many weekends this winter at the storage shed working on the topsides. So that's how you do that!

Everytime I show up with my boat--which is still in what I think of as the "refitting" phase--I get a little embarrassed. It just does not have the shine, the polish, that the rest of these Whalers have. Oh well, some day!

I love that 21-Walk Around,...and powered by a 225hp wwwwhhhhhooooaaaahhhhhh! Awesome craft!

Jim, whats your top speed with those twin 70hp Yamaha's? Nice boat! One of these days when I'm sitting on the beach living off 20% I'm gonna have a Whaler with a cuddy cabin!

Great boats through out the whole page!

I'm really starting to like that 21 WA too. I'm a dyed-in-the wool teak and desert tan guy (and a closet blue hull and mahagany guy) but the versatility of the 21's layout is fantastic. Imagine....flycasting from the bow, going offshore for tuna, taking it to the local lake for some wakeboarding, and later on taking the family for an overnight cruise to the next harbor down the coast....

Jim,

Funny how we're on the same page. Just 2 times out for me too; and my "findings" mirror yours. I'll post more under "Performance" later.
