I recently bought a 1979 Trojan F30. It has the Trojan black box accessory center. I have been told to replace this with Perko switch, however I am looking for some advice/details on how to rewire the accessories using the Perko. Any advice

Thanks

The manufacturers of electronic hardware for marine applications generally anticipate that it will often be installed by boat owners. As a result they generally provide fairly decent instructions about how to use their products and application notes to give you ideas.

It is doubtful anyone is familiar with the 1979 wiring accessories you mention, and as a result it is unlikely that you will get advice on how to replace them.

If you have a generic question about small boat electrical systems it may be possible to get advice. It is very unlikely you will be able to get advice from here or anywhere if you wish it to be specific to your 1979 Trojan boat and to describe electrical devices in unusual terms like "Trojan black box accessory center." Such a description conveys little information which could be used to formulate any sort of cogent reply.

The best source of advice might be the person who advised you originally to replace the "Trojan black box accessory center" with a particular brand of switch.
