Just bought [a 1988 27 Full Cabin] and had it shipped down from Maine. It has a bimini and not much room to mount electronics. I am thinking about a Navpod just in front of the helm. With the limited space I am looking into a combination GPS receiver-chartplotter-fishfinder. [Is a Raymarine A-65 a good unit?] What similar units are the easiest to use? Thanks

On my 27 Whaler, I have a Garmin 182C mounted on the space to the left of the helm and my old-fashion space gobbling CRT radar display on the space in front of the helm. Some day when I upgrade my electronics, I will mount a large screen, integrated networkable display on the space in front of the helm. I would probably put a second smaller display where my 182C currently is located.
