Trying to trouble shoot a wiring problem. I have a new wiring harness for my trailer, yellow brown on the driver side and green brown passenger, ground to trailer. My problem is the the driver side works fine but the passenger side doesn't. Blinker, brake, running is fine on driver side. The passenger side is the problem. I have a round to flat adapter on the back of 2004 GMC Seirra. The running lights work when I turn them on but I don't have a brake light or a blinker. Any help is appreciated as I'm obviously a wiring rookie.
thanks

I have a 2003 Envoy with the same problem. One of your fuses in the truck is blown. Check it out. My fuse was inside the truck, not in the engine compartment.

Or a bad ground at the passenger side tail light.

Both trailer brake lights are supplied by the same pin on the
flat four connector, so I don't think the problem is in the
truck.

BTW, old galvanizing makes a fine insulator.

Ignore what I said, I misread what you wrote as nothing working
on the passenger side.

Chuck the plug at the truck to see if it's giving voltage to the green wire. If it is, the problem is on the trailer side,
if it isn't the problem is on the truck side.

Thanks All
One of the wires that plugged into the back of the round behind the bumper was bent. Pulled it out and straightened, problem solved. Off to the lake this weekend with no worries.
