I thought I would pass this on.

I just got off the phone with Ed at GAM Electonics in New Hampshire, nice guy with a ton of knowledge about antennas. I bought a Stainless antenna from him for the little boat, and probably grab on for the Shamrock. It was refreshing to actually speak with the owner of the company that answers his own phones, and shows a genuine desire to have satisfied customers.
Whaler/Brunswicks commercial division specs his antennas on the government stuff , as well as some of the local law enforcement guys. Give his site a look....

I bought a GAM antenna a month ago, but I have not had a chance to install it on my Boston Whaler. I selected the GAM antenna after a careful study of what was available. I hope to be able to report very positively about it, but I will have to install and test it first.

Jim-
Thanks, I am updating the one I have on the Wahoo that has been on there for several years the SS2. Someone removed the antenna ends off before the winter, and misplaced it.......
