I have a 12 volt charger that I use to recharge my battery.
It is a Exide Nautilus automatic 10 amp charger.
When the battery is deeply discharged and hooked up to the charger .The "heaters " on the charger will kick off for a few minutes then it will resume charging . This may go on 10 times till it is finally charge.
Is this normal?

By "heaters" do you mean the overheat protective device?
