I am adding a VHF and antenna to my boat this year. No prior installation. What is the best set-up for the antenna install? I use the boat on Lake Michigan so it must withstand a fair amount of stress. Thanks

The Boston Whaler website had a picture under the 205 Eastport or 205 Conquest and it shows the antenna mounted next to the helm on the raised portion above the deck. Check it out.
