I have a client that will take delivery of a 28 foot center console Mckeecraft next week. It is powered by twin 250 hp E-TECs. The boat is rigged with the I-Command Digital Guages. In addition I will be installing two Garmin 4212 Chartplotter/GPS, GMR 404 open array radar, GSD-22 sounder with thru hull transducer, GDL-30A XM Weather/Music Module, and GMS 10 Network Bar. It will be intergrated thru.
The fun part of this install is tha we plan to connect the system via NMEA 2000 connectivity to the E-TEC's using the existing Can Bus functionality. I plan on taking videos of this part of the install. I will let you know how it pregresses because I'm navigating into unknown waters in regards to NMEA 2000. Our plan is to keep the the I-Command Guages so there is redundancy.
Exciting stuff for sure!
