Good day all,

I have 1999 Outrage 18. The 360 pole receptacle in the starboard, aft, gunnel is done.

I believe it is a Perko part, but not a standard Perko part.

Is this only available from Whaler, or is there a suitable replacement

The stern light for a classic Outrage 18 is not available. You will either have to buy one used or make one, which I and others have done. Details of this have been reported din several threads which you can find by using he search function.

Tom, This is not a 'classic', it's a 1999

I don't know if that makes a difference

Oops, it makes a big difference, never mind.

I suspect he light used on a 1999 Outrage 18 is an off-the-shelf Perko part.

I am confused by your description of "360 pole receptacle." Are you inquiring about an electrical connector that is associated with the lamp fixture used to provide the white all-around light? Perhaps it is the deck fitting that contains a socket which the lamp pole plugs into.

I do not think Boston Whaler manufactures its own electrical fittings and connectors, so I suspect it is a standard part. A call to Boston Whaler customer service can probably give you good information.

Jim, yes it is the deck fitting with the socket.

I find nothing that matches it in the Perko line-up.

I sure Whaler didn't manufacture it, I was told it was manufactured For Whaler by Perko. Seems odd as there aren't significant numbers for that.

I'll call Whaler

If Perko made it to order for Whaler, you may be stuck with getting it from Whaler. Sometimes these custom parts can't be bought from the OEM vendor.

Chuck Bennet wrote me back saying it was available from any Whaler dealer, with a note saying if buying from a non-whaler source ask for Perko #1045.

Which I found is not available everywhere. I did find it at at a very good price
