I get a Lowrance about a year ago and we have been having a hard time with it. we are not able to use the page screen it does not work for some reason. We looked in the book and it does not say how to restart the unit. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to restart the Lowrance LMS-334c? Any help would be great!

Soft reset (does not delete GPS data) - Turn off unit, press & hold PAGES button, press & hold POWER button.

Hard reset (deletes stored GOS data such as trails and waypoints) - Turn off unit, press & hold ZIN & ZOUT together, press & hold POWER button.

does not sound healthy. I have a 337c. There is a means to reset to factory default.

I think you should contact Lawrance.

I had a locked up Eagle UltranavII from the 1998, it quit last week. My daughter locked it up by continually pressing buttons to find time. It would start to a blue screen checkerboard beep and go blank. Pressing any button would beep once with a blank screen. Then there was no sound as other buttons were pressed after that. There was a click as the off bottom was pushed. I was looking for a new unit.

I just cold started it by pressing and holding clear then start!! Thanks for the ideas about resetting it!!!

taylornm25, I have the same unit and had the same problem this weekend. I did a hard reset as described by TT and it cleared the problem. I'd try the soft reset first if I had to do it again though... -- Bud
