I've been trying to troubleshoot a problem with my 2003 2-stroke 90HP Mercury. I've been through basic trouble shooting per the Seloc manual. Checked kill wire - no voltage, disconnected kill wire - still no spark. Finally noticed yellow stator wires fused at bullet connectors from apparent overload. I suspect the voltage regulator is bad but am wondering if I should replace the stator as well. I don't have a peak reading volt meter but my volt meter indicates some AC (~12 volts) voltage on the yellow stator wires while cranking. Appreciate your input.
