There is a new software update ready for download from the Garmin Web Site. It was posted tonight and is listed as Version 3.10. Garmin listens to it's users. There are four items that were added or modified because of user input.

Link to download update,

https://buy.garmin.com/shop/store/downloadsDetails.jsp?id=3521& product=010-00601-00&cID=148&pID=8109

What the fixes, adds, and improves on.

Note: When you update using the most recent Garmin change it is a cumulative change (i.e. if you haven't done the previous changes your unit will also receive those updates from v3.10)

bluewaterpirate--I am getting the fuel sensor for my 535S. Did you install the update? If you did install the update, what does the screen look like? When in the map page with overlaying numbers can I get MPG displayed? If not what screens and what data on fuel parameters can I get?

My boat is in storage and with my 2007 E-TEC 90-HP I want to get MPG without buying a Lowrance unit, without having to get a NEMA 183 gateway to NEMA 2000, or with out having to get another GPS sensor to get the data.

Any help on this and information on the sensor would be great. I have all the specifics, but, with the boost pump on the E-TEC, accurate fuel flow might be a problem unless you can set the averaging time like the Lowrance. I think Jim knows what I am talking about. Here is my basic layout on my boat I finished last year. Thanks you are a real trooper when it comes to helping people out on your own time. Well done.
