Making up good waterproof electical connections to the end of a wire is easy enough, but how do others make up a good, reliable, waterproof connection for the side lights which need to be connected to the middle of a wire run?

Use a heat shrink BUTT connector then coat it with liquid electrical tape.

I solder and cover with hot melt glue heat shrink.

If I ever rewire the trailer, each light will get its own
wires (power and ground) from a master junction tucked up
under the winch stand.
