A G2 vision card for Lake Michigan in a 535s shows location 1/4-mile to east. It also shows the roads in the water. With no card all is correct. We have many Garmin products and are baffled. Any ideas?

Probably a datum problem.

Finally got thru to Garmin by e-mail and phone. They acknowleged e-mail problems. They are sending an update chip for the 535s. The guess is it is how the unit software is reading the card. Not a bad g chart. They are shipping the card Friday and the specialist that assisted me is leaving the company Friday.Wish me luck!

So why didn't you just go to the Garmin website and download all the 535 updates yourself?
Follow the on screen directions at the bottom of the page. All you need is a SD memory card. You can format the card by following the directions on page 5 of your owner's manual.

Tom, That is what they suggested. Problem is no sd card here and from where I am in No. Michigan 100 mile round trip and several hours of poor quality time. I do, however, appreciate the input. It took a month for Garmin to suggedt the same.
