If anyone is still experienceing transducer spray problems Humminbird has finally made good on this defect by fabricating a rubber stopper that fits in between the knucle and the bracket. I have not put it on yet but it looks like a sound fix.
Best part is that they sent it free of charge. If anyone is in need I would recommend emailing their customer service dept.
I am still working on getting them to admit that their screen fogging is a defect. I will keep everyone posted.

I got mine today and took a look at it. Seems like a lot of work to make the switch. They sent a new mounting bracket, don't if it is different or not. I had filled the space on my transduecer w/calking and that really cut down on the spray and a lot simpler.

If you have a relatively new bracket the one they sent is not necessary. I simply took the transducer securing bolt out popped the stopper inand put it back together. The real test weill be on the water.
As far as the wait list that is what they said to me and I got it in a few weeks.
