Smartcraft Gateway to NAVMAN 8120

I have twin 2001 Mercury OptiMax 150-HP motors with SmartCraft (0T390000), and currently they are rigged independently with a blue cable with terminators at both end each going straight into a System Monitor Gauge. I have now purchased a Navman 8120 (AA006624R) and a Twin Engine SmartCraft Gateway. I want to replace the two System monitor gauges with the capability to monitor the engines directly on the NAVMAN 8120. In order to achieve this, I am sure I will need to set the ECM/PCM of the engines to PRT & STB respectively. I currently have two blue cables with terminators at both end--I assume they are 879982T-x--and the Gateway manual states that I need two cables with only one terminator at one end (879981T-x).
Can I somehow remove the termination and use the existing 879982T-x cables without having to rewire the cables all the way from the engines to the dash?
Thank you in advance, Adri

Adriano--Smartcraft requires one termination resistor at each end of the CAN1 circuit, regardless of number of engines or stations. CAN2 (DTS) is rarely messed with. As long as your existing configuration can support twin engines, you will be fine with a termination resistor at the the motor end and the helm end.
